Stage one was three laps of volcano. I felt really strong and had to hold back on the first lap. i didn't realize how fast it was till I came up to the line. 5:24, then 5:28, and 5:26 (holding on for dear life from middle point on)
16:18 seventh place in Men's division! (and first place in women's)
Stage two was Richmond flat lap, which i had only seen once. I ran a 6:42 which isn't too bad. I had plenty of gas left and wanted to do another attempt but after a brief rest, i just couldn't get my guns blazing. Saving something for stage three where my goal is to beat sixteen minutes.
